About White Eagle CIC
It all started with one mother’s dream.
In 2018, not long after moving to the UK, Justyna Łukaszuk noticed something that was hard to ignore — despite thousands of Poles living in Spalding, there were no community events, no shared holidays, no local support. She wanted more for her children — a glimpse of the culture they knew from home: a visit from Santa, a Polish Children’s Day celebration, a sense of belonging.
So she took the first step — and what began as a simple initiative soon grew into the White Eagle Cultural and Development Centre Club. With the support of Grzegorz Komorowski and the first director Monika Szymańska, the club became a vibrant hub for the Polish community and, in 2020, began a new chapter.
Today, as White Eagle Cultural and Development Centre CIC, we are more than just a club. We are a place for integration, growth, and education — open to Poles, Ukrainians, and all the residents of Spalding. We support local entrepreneurs, help families in crisis, and run programs that bring together generations, cultures, and hearts.
